Former swim coach arrested on multiple felonies in Florida

ORANGE PARK, Fla. A former swim coach at St. Johns Country Day School was arrested Monday on multiple felony charges.
According to a press release, in April 2021, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children and Forensics Unit conducted an extensive investigation involving a child being exploited online.
During the investigation, deputies say evidence revealed Mitchell Bentz, 24, solicited a 17-year-old online for unlawful sexual conduct. Bentz further sent several lewd images to the child victim. It is unclear if the child was a swimmer or student of St. Johns Country Day School. ....

While I am very grateful for the medical treatment to retired military personnel provided by the VA Clinics in Duval County, I am very disappointed that in 2022 there will only be two VA clinics on the northwest side of the St. Johns River for the whole county.
Closing the VA clinics in Southpoint and University Boulevard and replacing them with a large clinic near the airport, neglects the veterans who live east and south of the St. Johns River. The distance to travel from Arlington, the Southside, Mandarin and the Beaches will be a hardship for many veterans. ....

Regions Bank announced Dec. 21 that it promoted Jim Branch market executive in Northeast Florida.
Branch has nearly 20 years of mortgage banking experience, the last 13 with Regions. He joined the company in 2008 as a mortgage loan officer and was the bank’s mortgage production manager for the past seven years.
