whistleblower complaints alleging fraud, waste, and abuse. then the whistleblower program developed a risk assessment policy that was designed to triage the complaints and sort them out into low, medium, or high risk complaints. for example, the medium risk cases involved potential losses of 10,000 to $50,000 or they implicate a mid level manager. the medium and high risk cases are not represented in the whistleblower reports. instead, we get a preponder remembers of cases of low level employees who use work computers for personal business, who leave work early, or show up late, who gamble or sleep on the job, or who smoke in city cars and park them inappropriately. preventing these abuses is worthwhile, but where s the beef? we don t hear about the big money violations or mid to high level official misconduct. why not? if the whistleblower program does not receive such complaints, they should know why. if the whistleblower program refers such complaints elsewhere, they shoul
outer taraval has historically been a frontier of affordability , a real working class working-class enclave with small apartment buildings. it has since been undergoing dramatic changes with fewer affordable and neighborhood serving businesses, and more luxury condos being built, like the ones right here which were just sold last year for $1.3 million each. the tenants here have been for decades have been here for decades in our neighborhood and they have witnessed the spiraling change. for the small sights program, we have secured a formal housing for their families so they need no longer worry about their future in the sunset in our cit. the work must continue and i m committed to future small acquisitions here in the sunset district, as well as 100% affordable housing development like the educator housing project going up into outer judah, and really just pursuing every creative solution we can find to address the housing affordability crisis impacting so many moderate

we do have pattern partners. we really try to upstream factors. how can people dispose of their syringes in ways that fit for them and daily lives. that s why increases in the kiosks and syringe boxes are a result of that. you ever hand out syringe boxes to individuals? we do. every person who gets syringes is offered syringe disposal box. people like to have them. we also are outreach team. when they clean up syringes, they provide syringe boxes so they are provided through the syringe program through the outreach and through the pick-up crew. chair fewer: supervisor mandelman. supervisor mandelman: i m not sure that in this context. i do think that we re very significant population unhoused people, percentage of which are using drug who are being moved throughout the city regularly by public action. it is going to be very hard to get that with the best effort. all the needles that are given. i don t think we should be giving out fewer needles. we re making it harder
