Futures are indicated higher this morning, triple digit gains for the dow up by about 167 points but yesterday was a big down day for the markets. Dow was down by over 400 points, 1. 4 the s p and nasdaq done evz nasy even more. This morning s p indicated up by about 25 and nasdaq looks like it would open up by over 100 points fairly significant obviously everybody watching what will be happening with the stimulus talks with the deadline that nancy pelosi has said for later today. Lets take a look at the treasury markets ahead of that, you will see that the ten year looks like it is yielding 0. 777 so a little stronger yields for the treasury markets right now but andrew, obviously washington is where people are watching and that is exactly where well go because House Speaker nancy pelosi and Steve Mnuchin are saying that they are making progress in their latest stimulus talks with time running short of

we ve seen since the election. the nasdaq is indicated up by 8.5 points. we ll talk to the nasdaq s ceo later this morning. look at what happened overnight in asia. the nikkei was up by 1.1%. markets in china also closed higher with the hang seng up by a half percentage point. in europe this morning, in the early trading that s taking place, you can see things are relatively flat. across the board. the ftse, the cac, and the dax all sitting within points of where they closed yet. it s been a big couple of days for markets there. pepsico just out with earnings. the number is a core earnings of 94 cents a share. that beat estimates by two cents. revenue also coming in a little above expectations. talking about what happened with this quarter, she said they achieved solid revenue growth in the first quarter, underpinned by global volume growth. despite what she calls a challenging food and beverage industry that s been trading conditions in north america and continued volatili
today. thank god you re here. we have some news comcast is reporting and when you report on a company like comcast, there are many different things that people watch. not necessarily the bottom line number but let me give that to you any way. earnings per share, 52 cents that was up almost 27% year over year it was 3 cents ahead of expectations consolidated revenue grew 10%. 9.8% to 21$21.2 billion. that is above expectations of 20.855 consolidateded revenue was one of the things that people might look at, but maybe more so is ebita growth strong revenue and ebita growth increasing by 10%. first half ebita growth the best in six years a lot of this, sorkin you see the main cylinder? squawk box. part of it. film revenue up crazy nbc universal, outstanding quarter according to the company, grew ebita by 20% comcast cable delivered what the company is calling a great quarter is a strong balance between financial growth and solid subscriber metrics you watched t
