S p 500 basically flat on the day. Keep in mind markets did rally yesterday. The dow posting its second consecutive day up 200 points. Intraday the dow ticked above 21,000. So far a positive week for equities, today the trump tax plan will be in focus. Will there be a reduction from 35 to 15 . The other big question what does that mean for the federal deficit . Will it go up if the plan is not revenue neutral . Lets look at the tenyear treasury note. Yielding around 2. 325 . Markets in china also closed higher with the hang seng up by a half percentage point. In europe this morning, in the early trading thats taking place, you can see things are relatively flat. Across the board. The ftse, the cac, and the dax all sitting within points of where they closed yet. Its been a big couple of days for markets there. Pepsico just out with earnings. The number is a core earnings of 94 cents a share. That Beat Estimates by two cents. Revenue also coming in a little above expectations. Talking about what happened with this quarter, she said they achieved solid Revenue Growth in the First Quarter, underpinned by global volume growth. A father anxiously awaits his reunion with his teenage daughter while hiking mt tam. Dont know what to do. I mean, just like something bad happened. Reporter the Marin County Sheriffs Department tweeting out this picture, she went missing last night after parting ways with a friend hiking mt tam. She had just enough juice to make one last call to her father for help but the phone eventually died. Search and rescue began the search at 11 00 p. M. And apparently came close to finding her last night. A couple of individuals wearing head lamps and shirts walked close by but she was lost and disoriented and probably there was fear involved. She actually hid. They ended up finding her this morning along the same part of the trail where she made her last call. Her dad seen here breathe being a sigh of relief knowing his daughter is okay. 1 . The reason, escalating rhetoric on north korea. Today, the president said north korea should be very, very nervous and that his recent threat of fire and fury may not have gone far enough. The people who were questioning that statement maybe wasnt tou theyve been doing this to our country for a long time, for many years and its about time that somebody stuck up for the people of this country and for the people of other country, so, if anything, maybe that d were backed by 100 by our military, were backed by everybody and were backed by my other leaders.
