Senate primary, attorney general john bruney who was favored to win was upset by state senator deb fisher who was endorsed by sarah palin. todd palin recorded a robo call for her on the eve of the election. fisher won with 41% of the vote. bruning, who had been endorsed by the chamber of commerce, rick santorum and mike huckabee got only 36% of the vote. and state treasurer don stinberg who was backed by jim demint got a mere 19%. today sarah palin offered her congr congratulations on facebook. as recently as a week ago deb fischer was dismissed by the accomplishment. i applaud moms like deb fischer who are bold enough to step up and run on a conservative ....
mike: this week the attorne earlier there week, attorney general john bruney from nebraska, and from texas and south carolina, sent a letter to human services secretary. kathleen sebelius threatening to take legal action from the contraceptive mandate. and joining me now from nebraska, mr. attorney general, great to have you here. i want to ask you, why have you and your colleagues threatened to sue the obama administration? what is the legal basis for the potential lawsuit? well, it s a war on religion, this is a violation of the first amendment. freedom of religion is what the country was based upon. you had people that came over on boats all the way from england to worship freely and now you have a federal government that is trying to tell people that they re violating their conscious when they provide insurance. this is problematic and we ll ....
