so a potential expansion does raise a few questions by parents. we understand this is an old building and it s not a big building and there s lots of things consider. kaiser and burkehalter elementary are the only schools recommended for district expansion. they are not at capacity so to expand you would have to do construction or relocate. five did not escape. lakeview, maxwell park, marshall, santa fe and one other is recommended for closer by the district to have. it includes low enrollment and test schools. a teacher said they have been working hard at improving student test scores. we not really far from our goals. actually we are within our goals over the years. then i don t see the reason why they want to just close it. he said there has been talk of converting lazear into a charter school but he s skeptical of those plans. we really want our members, as a union, for our members to work in good condition. so charter school i personally, i m not ....
