Police were called to investigate a missing person incident when 48-year-old Faviola Calderon did not show up for work. Early on in the investigation, detectives determined Calderon was reported missing under suspicious circumstances. SAN DIEGO A 35-year-old man was behind bars Friday accused of killing his girlfriend, who was reported missing a day earlier after not showing up for work, San Diego police said. Details of the case provided by police Friday were vague, but detectives arrested Nery Roberto Garcia on suspicion of killing 48-year-old San Diego resident Faviola Calderon, according to San Diego police acting homicide Lt.
