Exhibiting the kind of profound indifference to the racial contours of the jeff session nomination that i wouldnt have expected from somebody as savvy as mitch mcconnell. If they did that on purpose to be racially provocative, to stir you racial currents here, i think thats scary and gross. If they did it accidentally, i think its political malpractice. But i think theyve just turned this issue and Elizabeth Warren and the Jeff Sessions nomination into a much hotter, more hotly contested and sort of scarier thing that its been up until now. It was remarkable. Do you think it changes any votes . Thats my last question. I dont know. Weve seen a lot of republicans say they were willing to support Jeff Sessions, joe mancion. An extraordinary legal battle over the fate of the travel ban. A threejudge panel is considering an argument on whether to keep a hold on the order. Is there any reason for to us think theres a real risk . The president determined that there was a real risk. I cant bel
it true to who i am and how i operate, i also think it will provide a place of belonging for many folks across the state and the country who also are tired of the partisanship. well, there s going to be a lot of noise about this from the democrats, from progressives, from the left. you know this that because of your position working with senator joe mancion of west virginia, you ve already been a target of the left. they re going to call you every name in the book. they re going to call you a traitor, an ingrate. what are you going to say? i think i ll do what i always do, jake, which is keep doing the work that i know is important for my state. i m just not worried about folks who may not like this approach. what i am worried about is continuing to do what s right

can feel it all right. there s still plenty of time here. there s not all losers just yet. but whether we become winners, that s a whole other question, one that seems to depend as always as senator joe mancion and on his lesser known partner in so-called censurism. leverage over other proposals? separate? it s called politics. sinema has largely stayed on the sidelines and her motivations honestly are still unclear. her arizona allies say she wants to be considered a maverick like
she is the ideologue in this. there s a lot of debate about what that word moderate or centrist means. referring to the small handful of conservative democrats working to block the president s agenda as moderates does grave harm to the english language and unfairly maligns my colleagues who are actually moderate yet by and large understand the stakes of this historic moment. correct me if i m wrong here, should the term moderates be put out to pasture when you re talking about joe mancion and
