SHARE ON: While the building housing the Elliot Lake Standard has been sold, the paper continues to operate. Managing editor Kevin McSheffrey says the buyer is Joe Issa from southern Ontario who wants to convert it into a used car dealership and auto body shop. Originally housing its own print press, mail and newsroom, the paper will now be produced out of town, but McSheffrey will continue to write for the publication owned by Post-Media out of his own home.
