TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 17/17 Clemson softball team battled through seven innings but fell just shy of upsetting No. 5/5 Florida State during the Thursday Night Throwdown at JoAnna Graf Field. With the 5-4 loss, Clemson falls to 33-12 overall (11-8 ACC), while FSU improves to 41-5 (12-4 ACC).
