Share County Commissioners Make Appointments To ESD Boards The Hill County Commissioners Court met in a regular session Tuesday, January 26, and appointed members to the Emergency Services District (ESD) 1 and 2 boards of commissioners. Reappointed to the ESD 2 board for two-year terms were Tad Duncan and Bob Stahl. No other applications were submitted to the court for those positions. Two positions held by Clarence Pressley and Ken Goins were expiring on the ESD 1 board, and two new applicants applied to be considered for the seats. Doreen Strickland of Abbott Volunteer Fire Department and Billy Heffner of Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department both applied to serve on the board. ....
