A Charleston-based insurance provider, BrickStreet Mutual Insurance Company, asked a federal court to require one of Gov. Jim Justice s coal companies, Southern Coal Corporation, to post a roughly $500,000 bond. The insurance company says the Justice coal firm hasn t paid a court-ordered money judgment stemming from a 2015 workers compensation and employers liability insurance dispute.
