Unity march demands justice for Army Lt. involved in Windsor traffic stop
Unity march held at VSU, protesting police brutality By Brent Solomon | April 29, 2021 at 6:14 AM EDT - Updated April 29 at 11:31 PM
SOUTH CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - The Virginia man seen in a viral video following a controversial traffic stop in the town of Windsor joined those calling for accountability Thursday.
A unity march was held at Virginia State University, where 2nd Army Lt. Caron Nazario also went to school. Those who attended gathered to call out excessive force by police. Nazario didn’t speak at the march, likely because his case is being litigated in court. Organizers say his presence alone spoke volumes.

ETTRICK Dozens of Virginia State University students, Life Christian Academy football players and other community members gathered at Rogers Stadium for a unity march on Thursday afternoon.
Nazario, who attended the event, was unable to comment on the case as it is still under investigation.
Jhovan Galberth, founder of Motivating Other Voices Everywhere, or MOVE, coordinated the event as a way to help bridge the gap between residents and law enforcement. We can sit and we can march in the street all day but we have to sit down at the table and find a way to correct it, said Galberth.
