Reporter in early october, thousands of Marriott Hotel workers went on strike in San Francisco and in other cities across the country. The workers say it took perseverance to walk the picket line for two months in smoke polluted air, heavy rain and even the thanksgiving holiday to get what they described as the best contract in the country for hotel employees.
