By Sheila Pressley For The Register-Mail MONMOUTH United school board members discussed possible graduation dates at their meeting Thursday in the high school commons. Commencement is tentatively set for 3 p.m. Saturday, May 16, with an outdoor ceremony. Board members discussed a May 15 ceremony with a rain date of the 16th and a May 16 ceremony with a rain date of the 17th. Members of the senior class and their parents are being surveyed as to their preferences. The board received copies of a new state policy on the use of educational technologies and student data privacy and security. This is the first reading for the policy. The issue will be brought up at the April meeting for a second reading or approval. The policy was written by the Illinois School Board Association. ....
