George floyd was 46 when he died his familys lawyer says todays memorial will be a celebration of his life as well as a plea forjustice. The city of minneapolis is hosting a Memorial Service in the next hour to remember george floyd, the unarmed black man who died in the city last week at the hands of a white Police Officer.
