The state’s Historical Resources Commission voted unanimously on Friday to approve the nomination of Marin County’s so-called “Last Resort” to the National Register of Historic Places.
Commissioners struggled to craft regulations that would balance the interests of people seeking housing with those earning money by renting their properties.
Marin’s countywide quota – 14,405 new housing units by 2031 – is staggering – more than a 12% increase in the number of housing units across our county.
