The Deck in Northampton introducing heated igloos for outdoor dining
Updated Feb 23, 2021;
The Deck currently has 10 outdoor heated dining igloos, which each seat about four to six people.
Typically the restaurant is only open during the spring, summer and fall months. But the exterior was expanded and the restaurant saw a record breaking attendance throughout 2020 season, so owner Jeremiah Micka wanted to do something more, the company said.
”It was a lot of work last year, but even with these challenging times we had the best season at the Deck in the venue’s history,” Micka said. “We officially opened the Igloos last weekend and were sold out for dining reservations. Due to this success, I plan on continuing this tradition for many years to come.”
