the past 6 to 8 hours. we are finding rainfall in the tri-valley and the peninsula. it is coming down at a decent rate. in san jose it s not too heavy. but rainfall at .06 an inch per hour. . overall rainfall totals are impressive with eight hours coming in with .26 in mill valley. and san jose at .15. we are tracking two more systems. i ll have more coming up in the forecast. new details about a troubling attack at an east bay school. a transgendered teen was cornered in a bathroom and sexually assaulted. another transgendered teen at the same school was bullied a few months ago. we are live with the latest on this case. the victim is a 15-year-old female who identifies as male and because of the new law that went into effect here in california on january 1st that student can choose whatever restroom they would like. and because of what happened in that restroom, the school board members will hold a special meeting to address what they call a troubling attack. a boy
inches down there for parts of santa clara. again, heavier rainfall is giving us drastically different views right now. cheryl hurd joins us live to explain why the water worries may left a little bit in marin county. reporter: jeff, with all the recent rain, marin county water district feels like they hit the lottery, but all water districts are seeing a rise in water like you see here, but folks here in marin county are benefitting big time. the overflow from the reservoir relieves a little stress from people like heidi cane who has been worried about the drought. the reservoirs are filling up. they have been dry. reporter: fast forward to today. three marin county reservoirs are now overflowing with an added 6 baill gallons. we went from 56% to 80%. that s great, obviously. reporter: it s just the start and we still need more rain. northern marin and sinoma were the first. their slogan, the drought is on, turn the water off. in january, the districts began asking
