county. the fire is behind us. the goal is to keep it that way. what you see now is calm compared with what we saw here an hour ago. let s show you part of what you ll be looking at those flames and billowing black smoke from an intentional fire to burn away fuel when the blaze changes direction. this highway section of highway 20 is where the firefighters were making a stand to contain it. they want to keep it south of highway 20, west of highway 16 but that fire has spotted in places. wind is part of the problem. the extremely dry fuel is another. here is cal fire spokesman who is not making predictions about that wind and the fuel and what they might do. we re starting to see the fire activity pick up. it s hard to speculate. this has been a very dynamic fire for us simply because this area doesn t have any fire history for the most part. reporter: when you say no fire history what does that mean mean? it has not burned in some of these areas, so the vegetation and
