A TALENTED teenager has hit the right note with judges after gaining a place at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Mark Gammon, 17, who plays bass trombone with the the Riverside Youth Band, has been given the opportunity to study for a Bachelor of Music Honours Degree after an impressive audition.
This is the next step for the Port Glasgow High pupil who started at RCS Junior Conservatoire in September, attending online on Saturdays.
He will begin full-time study this September.
Mark, who lives in Kilmacolm, said: I m overjoyed to have been offered a place at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. ....
