The time may have read 10:20 p.m., but the Spain Park Jaguars and Oak Mountain Eagles battled like it was still early in the day as the teams engaged in a five-set thriller in the finals of the Class 7A, Area 6 tournament on Thursday, Oct. 19.
In a back-and-forth battle between two of the early contenders in Class 7A, something had to give as the Oak Mountain Eagles and Spain Park Jaguars entered the final set of their matchup on Thursday, Sept. 14 at Oak Mountain High School.
CARY, N.C. (WTVD) The Wake County Public School System board discussed options for students in sixth through 12th grades during Tuesday s work session and board meeting.
A district spokesperson said one option could be returning the students to Plan A full in-person learning. Currently, students in grades 6-12 are in the classroom in cohorts. They rotate with the cohorts and learn in person for one week at a time and virtually for two weeks at a time.
