The Spain Park Jaguars finished off spring football under the lights as it gave its fans a taste of what's to come from their upcoming return to Class 6A.
After a shaky start to the day in the Class 7A North Regional tournament in Florence on Monday, May 6, the Spain Park Jaguars found their backs against the wall.
With the Chelsea Hornets, Oak Mountain Eagles, Spain Park Jaguars and Thompson Warriors hitting the track at Hewitt-Trussville High School on April 26-27, multiple athletes from the area rose to the top of Class 7A, Section 2 to reach the state championship.
The Helena Huskies capped off a challenging final week of the season with a win over a Class 7A county foe as they held on for the 8-6 victory over the Spain Park Jaguars on Wednesday, April 24 at Helena High School.
