Since the 70s, Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe has captured innumerable stories of the Black community that have been featured in museums such as the Whitney Museum of American Art and the National Gallery of Art . In 1995 she established the Arthur Ashe Endowment for the Defeat of AIDS, following the death of her husband, Arthur Ashe. For her, photography and activism are one and the same. ....
