Jared Knox was finishing up his senior year as a mechanical engineering major at Auburn University when he received the text message that, ultimately, changed his life’s path.
A graduate of Auburn University recently took home the top prize at the new Alabama Wildlife Fine Arts Competition, a part of the annual Wetumpka Wildlife Arts Festival (WEWA). Jared Knox, the winner of the 'Best in Show' category, graduated from Auburn in 2021 with a degree in mechanical engineering and had only pursued art as a hobby during the vast majority of his time on the Plains.
