send to share@fox25boston.com. and right now, first responders are looking for a missing swimmer. the search has been happening for about two hours. ted daniel has arrived at the scene. ted, what can you tell us? reporter: well, we are on the plymouth side of great herring pond and the search is taking place behind me, just a couple hundred yards from the shore here. there are at least five boats in the water right there was a coast guard helicopter circling above. we re working on preliminary reports now that three people took a boat out onto the pond this afternoon and were jumping off the boat to swim into the water. the wind is pretty strong, and there s some good gusts down here. we re told that the wind kept pushing the boat away. two of the swimmers were able to make it back to the boat. but one was not. and that is the man that they re looking for, believed plymouth. i spoke with a resident who s been watching the search all afternoon. here s what he had to say
