Bihar businessman shot dead in Jamtara: Nanda Yadav, 35, was found shot dead by unidentified assailants in Shastri Nagar under the Mihijam police station limits of Jamtara. The deceased's family, originally from Bihar's Jamui district, had been residing in Mihijam for the past few years and was into a dairy business. The body was sent to the Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. No suspects have been named by the family members. The incident occurred when Yadav was sleeping inside a temporary structure away from his residence, as he usually did to look after his livestock. Police are in the process of filing an FIR.
Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel rescued two minor boys being trafficked to Nellore in Andhra Pradesh from the Dhanbad-Alleppey Express at Chandrapura Railway station in Bokaro.
