Now, the judge tonight did not rule on the constitutionality, but what were seeing from reports tonight is that he put in a temporary restraining order, in order to make sure that the provisions of the order that weve been talking about for a week now so deportations and the like will not happen anymore, and its a ban nationwide. And does a federal judge in washington have the authority to institute a freeze nationwide . Yes. A federal court has the ability to do that, and thats exactly what the attorney general asked for. Now, what we dont know is what the white house will say to this. Weve heard our reporting has shown that Customs Officials plan to follow this order, but we dont know exactly how this will play out. he has served on active duty with the united states army and the republic of vietnam. his decorations include the bronze star medal, three air medals, the army commendation medal, the combat infantry badge which he is worry in his lapel tonight. and the vietnamese gallantry cross with a silver star for valor. a graduate of boston university school of law, he is also a master s degree in taxation. which a number of us may need tonight after winning a number of those awards. and he is also an adjunct professor at roger williams university of law, and being from the army, it is very difficult for me to say this, the united states naval war college in rhode island, it is a hardship because you know how bad they beat the army team every first week in the summer. he is listed as one of america s 500 leading judges and law dragon, and he has been married since 1966 to the former virginia, elizabeth miller. i knew he had to have a southern connection in there somewhere. judge, ....
