Hertfordshire Festival of Music goes 'live' this weekend

Hertfordshire’s very own festival of classical music makes its ‘live’ comeback this weekend following a cancellation year lost to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In an exciting week ahead, concerts feature the internationally celebrated violinist Chloë Hanslip, pianist Danny Driver and music by Judith Weir, the first woman composer to be appointed Master of the Queen’s Music.

The Hertfordshire Festival of Music also has a strong community focus.

Hertfordshire Festival of Music 2021 line-up announced


Praised for her “warmth and clarity” and “simply spellbinding” playing, Chloë has already established herself as an artist of distinction on the international stage.
She made her BBC Proms debut at 14 and her US concerto debut at 15, and has performed at major venues across the UK, Europe, the US and the Far East.
Violinist Chloë Hanslip is this year s Principal Artist at the Hertfordshire Festival of Music.
