Paul Broadie started his job as Santa Fe College president just six weeks before COVID-19 closed down the campus, the start of a year that has seen challenges but also remarkable highlights. It was really a good experience for me as president to watch a whole college mobilize and do the right thing. Broadie said. We have a very caring institution. That has accelerated my listening and learning. Broadie took over as college president in February 2020 after being unanimously elected by the district board of trustees. He replaced Jackson Sasser, who saw the college s reputation peak in 2015 with the Aspen Prize for national excellence. ....
