jose was found dead inside his cell at santa clara county main jail. good evening. inmate was unresponsive when he was discovered in the preliminary investigation suggests it was a suicide. the family has doubts. a candlelight vigil was held this evening in san jose. reporter: he had been in jail for a little more than one month and had turned himself in from a warrant stemming from assault charges. the family is in disbelief saying he is not wanted to take his own life. the sheriffs office denies any wrongdoing. he was a good kid. he loved children and his nephews and nieces. reporter: at a candlelight vigil, family and friends remembered him as a loving, caring and humble man. it is a pain that no one will ever understand. reporter: he was an inmate at the santa clara county main jail. during a welfare check deputy discovered him unresponsive, alone, in his cell. medical staff immediately administered cpr but he was pronounced dead 15 minutes after he was found. th
there is still a risk of explosion this morning. and 4,000 people are now under evacuation orders from 1400 households here in unincorporated eastern contra costa county. this is a look at those evacuations right now in effect from north broadway avenue to the west, summer way to the east and from suisun avenue to willow pass road. authorities have said people around the area might be hearing the sound of what sounds like a jet engine. that s part of the venting process when it comes to trying to stabilize this natural gas pipeline to reduce that risk of explosion. so let me take you back to how this all started. it looks like a fallen power line may have sparked the fire here in bay point at around 8:30 last night and that fire is still burning at a utility vault above a natural gas pipeline. chevron owns that line. it is a 12 high pressure line that runs through the east bay and connects with other lines throughout the state. so the state fire marshal is here helping out w
