kari hall. and what a whopper. yes. came in time for the morning commute. so people are out on the roads and this rain comes gushing down and created some flash flooding especially on those elevated surfaces and those roads. so now the bulk of that heavy rain continues to move to the east most of the south and east bay, and to the hills. we re tracking some of that as it continues to move through just to the east of san jose. we re not seeing all the lightning strikes but still bright oranges indicating some heavy rain that will continue as we go into the next few minutes. great news we re not seeing the intense lightning, but there s still some rain moving into san francisco right now as well as the north bay, approaching the east bay. once again, not as intense. dropping more rain into the bucket than what we had this morning. most of us measuring anywhere from a quarter inch up to half of an inch of rain in a short period of time. and we ll see that as we go through th

and really to my colleagues, last and certainly not least. it has been a pri ledge to get to know each and ef every one of you the last four years. the thing that excites me, these are friendships that will last a lifetime but we ve done a great job the last four years and i am excited about what we re going to accomplish these next two years and beyond and i want to thank you for working together and forming these relationships. it matters the world to me. people always ask what it s like to be on the board of supervisors and to represent the city. to me above all else i say it s an honor to do what i do. again, that s the neighborhood i grew up in where my parents live in the same house i grew up in and whereliz and i are now living with jack madison and cane. it always has been and will be home so i want to thank everybody for being here today. i want to thank the voters of district two. it has been a great first term. i think the best is yet to come and i really look forw

it s resilient, one of the most resilient neighborhoods inside san francisco and we are at the beginning of this revitalization and i want to thank those folks on ocii who are revitalizing our 12i. it is exciting to see the southeast side of the city catching fire and moving forward in a positive way and a way that s not leaving people behind and that s really important. you can move forward and you cannot leave people behind. yes, we have our challenges but that does not mean we are defined by our challenges. we have begun to rebuild housing and removed over 600 guns off the street and i want to thank the police department for doing that. we will continue to do that and chip away and make sure our safety net is safe and fair for everyone in this city. i want to in closing give a few remarks about some of the work i m going to be doing in the next four years. i ll be working to ensure that affordable units being built here in our city become available to everyone equally and
