Town U18s recovered from being two goals down to beat Rushden and Diamonds 4-2 in a pre-season friendly at Playford Road on Wednesday afternoon. Goals from Tony Boto, a Charlie Sheringham penalty, Jordan Rhodes and Stuart Ainsley gave the Blues their victory.
Town s U18s travel to Southampton tonight for the first leg of the club s first FA Youth final for 30 years (KO 7.45pm). The Blues will be without striker Billy Clarke who has a knee injury which he sustained late in the second leg of the semi-final with Spurs.
