A FUNDRAISING page set up in memory of an Irvine man who passed away last month has raised over £10,000 to help people suffering from depression and other mental health issues. Jack Dore was an International Tourism Management student at Edinburgh Napier University who was due to graduate with a BA (Hons) in Spring. Born and raised in Irvine, he spent time in the capital for his studies before moving to Glasgow in June 2020 after the pandemic hit. After facing a series of difficulties in recent months, such as losing his part-time job due to cutbacks, the ex-Ayrshire College student suffered a breakdown and moved back home to be with his parents and brother, receiving support from charities such as Breathing Space.
