4 men arrested in stabbing, fight at Chandler mall in March

CHANDLER, Ariz. (AP) Four men have been arrested in connection with an altercation at a Chandler mall two months ago, according to police.
Witnesses said two groups of men began fighting inside the mall on March 12 and one man began stabbing others with a small knife.
Three of the six people in one group received hospital treatment for injuries that were not life-threatening.
The four men in the other group all fled, but police said the altercation was captured on mall security video.
On Thursday, police announced that 23-year-old Andrew Courtney of Sierra Vista was arrested on suspicion of three counts of aggravated assault with a dangerous instrument.

CHANDLER, Ariz. (KVOA) - A Sierra Vista man has been arrested alongside three teenagers in connection to a stabbing that occurred at Chandler Fashion Center on March 12.
Chandler Police Department was dispatched to the Chandler Fashion Center, located at 3111 West Chandler Blvd., at around 5:23 p.m. March 12 regarding a fight. When the officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that three people involved received non-life-threatening stab wounds.
The investigation revealed that a physical altercation involving a knife was the result of two groups of men having an exchange of words.

CHANDLER, AZ â Four arrests have been made after an altercation and stabbing at a Chandler mall in March.
Officers say on March 12, two groups of men began fighting inside the mall on the lower northwest level and during the fight, one of the men began stabbing the other group of men with a knife. Police say the man was with two other men who were also involved in the fight.
After the fight, three men fled through the mall on foot, eventually taking off in a gray four-door sedan.

On March 12, Chandler police said nine people between the ages of 18 and 20 were involved in a large fight between two groups at the Chandler mall that resulted in three people getting stabbed.
The fight occurred about 5:30 p.m. on the lower northwest level of the mall near Chandler Boulevard and Loop 101.
The three who were stabbed were treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Following the fight, department spokesman Sgt. Jason McClimans said detectives interviewed eight people involved, but none were immediately arrested and were refusing to be victims of any possible crime.
