For the past two years officials in iowa city hav transformed an old grocery store, and Old Office Building into an emergency homeless shelters, during the cold winter months. The efforts have kept Homeless People refusing to go to shelter house. Out of the cold, and out of city hall where many men slept years ago. I wont freeze to death, but if i did it would be an easy nice way to go. But today, past locations are no longer available. He was arrested for the stabbing death. The victim stabbed multiple times in rural cedar rapids. Witnesses told cbs2 they got a woman charged in connection of the death of 14yearold em ma red linger. Released by a federal judge but has to wear a tracker until her trial starts. Will be tried in juvenile court. Three other people also face charges in connection to redlingers death. Cbs 2 news

But a state senator says there are people in Nursing Homes who dont even know they need to enroll and more doctors are dropping out to avoid the hassle. The Polk County Health Department Today say tests to determine the illness are back, and theyve traced the cause to bad meat from a catered meal eaten by teachers and staff at a october 21 luncheon. The Health Department did not specify where the meat came from where the caterer, but Officials Say the illness occurs when foods are prepared in large quantities and kept warm for long time before serving. 58 teachers and staff became sick with diarrhea.
