Mangaluru, Feb 4: Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) organised a special guest lecture on “The Future of Businesses - Post-Covid Era” as a part of its MSNIM International Webinar Series.
Dr Sudhir Ranjan Sen Gupta, Justice of Peace, Malaysia were the international guest speaker for the webinar. He is also Director of Groundswell Malaysia, Sd.Bhd and Advisor to SSS Management & Consultancy Services Sdn.Bhd.
The webinar was held on January 30 at MSNIM campus at Bondel. After delivering the lecture, Dr Gupta engaged with the MBA students in question and answer session.
Rohan Samarajiva and Ramathi Bandaranayake presented on Day 4 of the International Webinar Series: SDG Sensitive Risk Communication & Community Engagement (RCCE) Response to COVID – 19, organised by Tezpur University and UNICEF Assam. They presented preliminary findings on risk communication activities undertaken by the governments of Taiwan, Singapore, and Sri Lanka in response to COVID-19, and how these might relate to best practices in RCCE, especially the recommendations of the World Health Organisation. They emphasised the need for governments to direct messaging towards communications channels most likely to be accessed by the public, to communicate early and acknowledge uncertainty, and to engage with specific national contexts and tailor messaging towards those especially vulnerable due to health, economic, and other reasons.
