German artist Rolf Lukaschewski and American writer George Hirthler
have both been presented with the Pierre de Coubertin Medal in a
ceremony to mark Olympic Day.
The death has been announced of Professor Norbert Muller, one of the
leading authors of the official Centenary History of the International
Olympic Committee (IOC) and a renowned scholar on the works of Baron
Pierre De Coubertin.
