Partner spotlight: Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI)

This month, PMNCH is proud to spotlight the work of the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) which operates at the intersection of government, business, and healthcare to catalyze more equitable healthcare access. Founded on the principle that geographic location should not dictate access to treatment, CHAI has active programs in 35 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and is dedicated to ensuring that no one dies due to the lack of healthcare services. The spotlight on CHAI, including its focus on government-led solutions and established contribution to women’s, children’s, and adolescents’ health in African countries, coincides with the 37th Ordinary Session of the African Union Heads of State Summit taking place from 17th-18th February in Ethiopia. The Summit is themed to the importance of resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, lifelong, quality, and relevant learning in Africa.
