Ghaziabad: The vice-chairperson of Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) on Monday convened a meeting of seven builders from Crossings Republik, the state’s first township under Integrated Township Scheme that came up in 2007, and asked them to submit a report detailing work done by them within a week.
These developers have failed to provide basic facilities even after the compulsory ten-year period. GDA VC Krishna Karunesh has now given them a week’s time to come up with a report detailing the work carried out by them. “State’s principal secretary (housing) will take a stock of projects under the integrated township policy and before that we have asked the erring builders to come up with a report within a week. We will recommend action against them based on that,” Karunesh said.
