11 famous Asean landmarks to be placed on Pulau Bidong seabed 08 Apr 2021 / 18:18 H. - Bernama KUALA NERUS: Eleven iconic Asean landmarks will be placed on the seabed of Pulau Bidong, Terengganu under the 1st Asean Underwater Mini Landmark special project. Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the project, managed by the National Heritage Department (JWN) in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), would be launched between June 15 to 19, in conjunction with the Asean Seminar on the Preservation and Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage. “The project estimated to cost RM265,000 (USD 70,000) and to be financed by the Asean Cultural Fund, is a cultural project that will act as a knowledge sharing and cultural exchange platform for Asean countries. ....
