NEW DELHI, March 20: India and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries on Monday agreed to deepen cooperation in several areas of mutual interest. The Indian official appealed for more collaboration between the two countries in renewable energy, food security, health, IT sector and counter terrorism.
The meeting of foreign ministers belonging to the G20 countries, held in India, ended without producing a consensus statement. It is the second occasion in a span of two weeks when the G20 grouping.
The next meeting of the Quad Foreign Ministers will be hosted by India on March 3 in New Delhi. The meeting will be chaired by External Affairs Minister S Jaish
