SCO Meet In Goa: EAM S Jaishankar to chair SCO foreign ministers meet 2023 in Goa. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has also arrived in India to attend the meeting. Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Arrives In Goa To Attend SCO Foreign Ministers’ Meet Bhutto will lead the Pakistan delegation. This will be the first visit by any Pakistan leader to India after former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 2014.
Earlier this week, Pak PM Shehbaz Sharif insisted that India and Pakistan should sit at a table and resolve the Kashmir issue as the three wars with India have brought more misery, poverty and unemployment to the people.
After fighting with tensions for years, India-Pakistan relations appear on the surface to have a boost as both the countries are gearing up to facilitate talks between Pak Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York late September.
