Punch Newspapers Sections Chidiebube Okeoma, Owerri The operatives of the Quick Intervention Team of the Imo State Police Command have arrested seven ex-convicts who fled to the state from Abia State. A spokesperson for the Imo State Police Command, Orlando Ikeokwu, told our correspondent that the suspects on February 1 snatched a Lexus 350 SUV, with the number plate, KSF 758 FS, in Aba, Abia State. He said the command got the report and the QUIT squad swung into action. The police spokesperson said, “Sequel to some painstaking and diligent investigation, the QUIT operatives arrested the following: Amado Kennedy, Igilegbe Chinwendu, Nwaorie Moses, Godfrey Ntosi, Chinedu Agwu, Eze Obinwanne and Ejiofor Egwe. At the point of arrest, the stolen SUV was recovered from them. ....
