Editor s note: Newspapers across southern Idaho collaborated this month to tell the stories of some of those lost to the COVID-19 pandemic.
BOISE â When Diana Logan and her husband, David Logan, first got sick with COVID-19 in late August, the couple expected theyâd be able to recover with time.
However, only Diana did.
David died Oct. 4 at 65 years old from the novel coronavirus â a disease that has killed more than a thousand Idahoans since the start of the pandemic in March. Prior to his death, he had spent more than a month in the hospital and about half of that time on a ventilator.
