it will take everyone pitching in to help, so if their viewers want to help, how can they contribute? it is really awareness, talking about it. when you re talking about the mental health side of things, making sure that everyone knows how to get help. the va is an incredible resource, but it is not for everyone. some veterans don t have access to it. some veterans have bad experiences with the va, so they don t want to use it anymore. that is why we try to get resources like iava. but really, if you know a veteran who is a need, make sure you work with them, work with their family to make sure that they are getting the help that they need. and then beyond that, it s raising awareness, like he said, about memorial day. we are talking about that hashtag, #gosilent campaign. it is not just about the start of summer. it is not about barbecues. it is about honoring, remembering, respecting those that made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of the country.
