she went to the olympics with the 100 meter. it is so disappointing for so many of her fans but also her working so hard, and losing her mother, knowing her biological mother passed just a week before that run. but you talk about the pressure, not only that professional athletes face but women that are professional athletes face. we have seen it with naomi osaka and serena williams and women specifically of color. absolutely. we saw that when she tweeted on thursday morning, she put out on twitter, i am human and we didn t know yet most of us what she was referring to, but that really struck me that she was already kind of making an appeal to say, look, i may have these extraordinary this extraordinary talent, these extraordinary physical powers, but i make mistakes. i am just as human as anyone else. that really resonated with me as, you know, someone mo is also an athlete and, you know, pushes myself. they re all just the same as us in one way or another.
