Continuing the crackdown on peddlers in the city, the police seized around 140kg of Alprazolam drug used in toddy adulteration worth over Rs 8.5 crore. The peddlers were arrested on Sunday after being stopped by the police on the Pipeline Road in Jeedimetla. As per a report in the Times of India, the police intercepted two cars on the Pipeline Road and arrested two peddlers - G Linga Goud (36), M Vinod Kumar (27).
