Improvements to trails, museums part of $4 Million in funding from multi-level government infrastructure program


Almost $4-million is going towards 6 projects in the Huron-Bruce area thanks to funding from the province.
Huron Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson says 30 projects across Ontario will receive a portion of the grants from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.
Locally the money will be disbursed to the Bruce County Museum in Saugeen Shores, a new accessible washroom and equipment storage shed will be built in Brockton, and the North Huron Wescast Community Complex in North Huron will be rehabilitated.
In South Bruce, work will continue on the Mildmay Carrick recreation complex as well as the Teeswater-Culross Community Centre and in Kincardine a trail will be built from Kincardine to Inverhuron Provincial Park. ....

The funding is part of the Community, Culture and Recreation Infrastructure program stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP), and is part of 30 projects awarded funding across Ontario.
