(Courtesy Photo)Courtesy Photo Mike Power was given somewhat of a retirement gift from the County Road Association of Michigan last month. The now retired road commissioner for Huron County was given a Distinguished Service Award from the CRA after serving nearly two decades and concluding his term in December. Upon receiving word of Power’s retirement, the CRA was soon contacted with recommendations to acknowledge his efforts. “Usually somebody at the road commission or with a neighboring road commission will nominate someone and complete the application,” said Dustin Earley, communications manager for the CRA. “I’ve worked really close with Mike for a long time and he’s been such a great member of our organization. ....
